S.H.O.P. events thrive because of its volunteers! SHOP is always looking to collaborate with other local and national organizations to create initiatives that help grow and revitalize the local community. We seek passionate volunteers on an ongoing basis who can help with everything from village beautification projects, to public relations to event planning and more.
We are currently looking for volunteers to help with our concerts in Sept/Oct 2015. This is a great opportunity to be a part of our community and experience some of the fantastic music the Sandy Hook Village Choose Love Concert Series has to offer. Being a volunteer at the Choose Love Concert Series may include work, but also lots of fun and excitement, especially if you love music and community.
Concert volunteers must be at least 18 years old and available any or all of the following Saturdays from 1pm until after the show ends usually around 4pm: August 16th, August 23rd, August 30th, September 6th and/or Sept 13th.
Primary volunteer responsibilities include: being present during concert to make sure people stay off the fence that overlooks the river, keeping the area clean, working with event coordinator to ensure everything runs smoothly, helping out with craft activities for the kids, staying after concert to help with breakdown and clean up, etc.
